Every product, pattern, or pick on this site goes through the same review process. We disclose what we paid, how long we tested, and what bias we tried to remove. If a step in this list does not match what you are reading, that is a bug — tell us and we will fix it or pull the post.

How we test

Step 1

We measure width, depth, and height on every appliance with a steel rule — not manufacturer rounding.
Step 2

Each pick is evaluated for cord length, vent clearance, and cabinet swing interference.
Step 3

Pricing is re-checked weekly; stale affiliate links are removed within 7 days.
Step 4

We disclose every affiliate relationship in plain English at the top of the relevant article.
Step 5

Reader corrections are answered within 72 hours and folded into the article when valid.
